God, How i Envy You

I was talking to a new pal of mine Dele, who I've met while working at Partizan, and he said while looking at the sketches on my blog, that he liked the way i had laid them out because it looked sequential, like a comic. It made me think back to a conversation i had With Kristian Antonelli, Kristian was talking about making a sequential strip out of his daily sketches.

So thought I'd give it a whirl. I've added some text to glue the drawings together.

I'd like to here your thoughts, and see if you think it's clear.

I might try this out for a while. I was getting a bit board just posting random sketches.

Love it Tim, a snap shot of life. No agenda, no contrivances just a point in time that says so much. Loads better than the comic strips in every newspaper - except 'George and Lynn' of course ;)

ARGAHAHAHA! It's beautiful! I love the one at the end, 'should I sit on the floor, no I won't sit on the floor'! I'm sure I've seen that same person on the underground with that expression slapped across thier grill. I love it man, I can't wait for the next installment haha!!

This is how a blog should look. You have just set yourself a whole new standard!

The writing adds to the characters and puts a bit of a story behind each of them. I love it.

More of this! And see ya Sunday yeah?

about the animation paper, the site says that it allows you to look through 4 sheets, is that really enough?.. how are you liking this paper?

i'm glad you all like it! i'm gonna try and do this more offten.

it kinda gives you double the pleasure out of the drawing. because you get to make up a story with the pictures you've enjoyed making in the first place.

Yeah I think this is a great idea too! Its cool to add the character's thoughts rather than situation dialogue. Nicely done!

Hey Tim thanks for the comments, I see you are keen to comic as well. I like the overlapping boxes on the sketches here. We're nearly there on issue one but if you want to do an issue, then I'd be chuffed to bits! We're definitely going to continue doing this through next year, so if you fancy a crack let me know. I didn't know about the printing side so thanks for that. I'm thinking about the pages as if they are in a printed comic, but we'll probably put it on the web. Would be great to sell a few real ones, though!
