N.Y trip

just got back from no less than new york city. I had so much fun! here's some drawings from my n.y sketch book.

the next 3 pages were done in the M.O.M.A

the drawings in the page below were done in some rotten club while i was pissed up (drunk) i was looking at them the next day and i thought it was interesting to see what i had focus on, they seem to be very simplified.

Every time I see your life sketches I get so motivated to also go out there and just sketch. So inspiring... They are really honest, love them!

As for the drunk sketching, that's actually pretty interesting haha. Seems like you were focusing on the gestures a lot more and less on the detaills. They turned out as really good gesture drawings ( i think)

Thanks for getting back to my e-mail, I started trying some things myself and thumbnailing a bit yesterday, I got a good feeling about it!

Man I wanna go to the us too! Where you get the money from haha.

Hey mate,

Cool sketches. Were you in NY last Friday? Your film looked pretty good up on the big screen at the National Gallery.

Slightly surreal seeing your work up there and everyone kept asking who the other monkey was?
